How To Enjoy Key West FL in 24 Hours or Less

Find a fun vehicle to drive around in.

Like this one!  Look no doors, Mom!  Good thing she wasn't there, Mom would not be impressed...

Drive over to Duvall Street.

Take pictures of all the cool houses that have cool stucco walls out front.

Like this one...except without the stucco walls...

Admire the palm trees and Key West architecture.

Drive down Duvall St.  Check out all the shops.

Especially Dogs on Duvall a shop with incredibly cute puppies in the front window.  Walk back later to see them all up close!

Find a large beautiful Episcopal Church (right on Duvall Street) to take a picture of.

Check out the Southernmost point of the United States, marked by a buoy that shows "90 miles to Cuba"  There will be a lot of other people there taking pictures.

Take pictures of the other people taking pictures of the buoy.

Take more shots of other people around the buoy, but don't get out and try to fight the crowds for a better shot, you only have 24 hours on the island - these photos will be good enough.

Go to the Mallory Dock to see the Sunset Celebration where street performers gather and put on quite a show.  Find Cleo the dog and the banjo playing man.

Cleo wears shorts, and has a neat trick.  The banjo man will be honest about their show it is a money making scheme, not an entertainment act.

Cleo takes dollars and puts them in a bucket.

See the dollar bill?

See Cleo walk to the bucket.

See Cleo drop the bill into the bucket.

Then watch as everyone takes money out of the pockets and gives it to Cleo to put in the bucket.

Then walk over towards the harbor where you will see lots of nice yachts and retail stores.

Visit the Custom House Museum, inside check out the beautiful artwork.

While eating dinner at the Mad Rooster notice the dueling piano bar across the street.  Then wander down to Delaney's for drinks and people-watch for a while.

In the morning have eggs benedict and fresh fruit at the Westin's outdoor restaurant in Mallory Square.  Cruises frequent the island on a daily basis and beach themselves directly opposite of this restaurant.

Notice an iguana in the road on your way back to the airport.

Wait patiently while it moves out of the way.  Then fly home.
