After our meal we headed home and sat in our family room and played checkers.
Just kidding - this wasn't exactly our family room...
To be clear, it definitely was not our family room.
We made a trip north to Cabelas.
And we acted very maturely...
Of course we went on the weekend before deer opener - the place was packed. So we wandered aimlessly through the store and found the lovely furniture set. So we sat for a while and hung out.
Then I kicked Tylor's butt at shooting targets. This was the set up.
Tylor's score - 80
My score - see below...
BOO YAH! I WIN! GO ME!
The we continued through the store and the boys found little guns that make LOUD noises.
Because everything happened so fast this is the only shot I got of the excitement.
After all this excursion we had to stop for food. The mile long trip between Cabelas and Dairy Queen actually deserves it's own post but what I really want to tell you about happened inside the tasty establishment. Our friend Cody discussed with us (and the cashier) how to get the best bang for your buck at DQ. This is important people so write this down.
Ordering 2 Chicken Baskets gets you:
8 pieces of chicken
2 orders of frys
4 pieces of toast
Ordering a 6 piece Chicken Basket gets you:
6 pieces of chicken
1 fry
2 pieces of toast
Now you know.
While this is a better deal - actually eating 8 pieces of fried chicken 2 orders of frys and 4 pieces of toast is a lot of food. Tylor - the hungriest guy I've ever met - ordered this combo and - GASP - couldn't finish it.
So people lets learn from Tylor's mistake and not pay an extra dollar just to throw food away!
